A Louisiana sister is posting on the blog today! I am so thankful God took me by complete surprise by sending me on a road trip with this complete stranger. He knew I needed this soul-filled lady in my life. Check her blog out over at https://julianaboudreaux.wordpress.com

What is the price of the Father’s love? In order to understand our worth as born again Christians, we first must understand the price that was paid for us.
Before we knew God, He loved us. God knew the high price of the ransom for all our sins, and therefore allowed His only Son to endure torture for you and for me. And who is His son Jesus to us? He is the lamb. In Hebrew the word for lamb is taleh. The Hebrew word meaning covering comes from the word taleh. Jesus is our covering. He is the Taleh Elohim, the Lamb of God. Jesus was the pure sacrifice whose life was poured out for each of us.
We see the struggle of Jesus accepting this high price in Mark 14:36 (ESV), And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” This scripture recounts Jesus crying out to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane for any alternate plan to take place rather than Him facing the brutality of the cross.
You are so precious to Father God that He allowed His only Son, the Perfect Lamb, to endure flogging and torture. I encourage you to read in detail the accounts of what Yeshua (Jesus) endured for you on that rugged tree before you ever accepted Him as Your Lord & Savior. In his book “Sparkling Gems from the Greek,” author Rick Renner describes death by crucifixion as “the lowest, most humiliating, debasing, shameful, painful method of death in the ancient world.” The cross was the price of the Father’s love for you. Have you accepted the gift of His love fully? The price has been paid. What are you waiting for?
Can’t tell you how thankful I am for Christ’s sacrifice. It still amazing to me after years of following Him.

I’m so thankful He is our covering. He covered Adam and Eve when they realized they were naked. He covered their shame, and He continues to do the same for us today.
